Are you one of those people that loves to eat ramen, but hates that you can't get the last of the noodles because they've drowned? yeah, well that's how I was too. Until the fateful moment I had today.
I made ramen, and I make it so often that I don't measure the water anymore. Well today I made it so perfect that there was no broth. I was ecstatic! It was like a dream come true. Today, I would get all the noodles.
But I was so incredibally wrong. Little did I know why broth is required with your ramen.
I took that first bite...
and got a mouth full of salt. It was pure sodium. I thought it might just be that bite, so I ate a bit more. When I couldn't take it anymore, I had to add water to it to rinse the sodium off of my noodles... and I drowned more of them. But my ramen tasted better!
So the moral to my story? The broth in your ramen is why it tastes good. Do not de-broth your ramen!

lol. The main key to ramen is to have enough broth to make them moist, but not to dorwn them. Like 1/2 way full of broth vs noodles is good.

The label can be wrong. The stove takes me 4-5 minutes while the microwave takes 5 min. >_> Darn label.

I'm gonna have ramen noodles right now. I like the shrimp flavor the best..But that could just be because I'm a seafood freak. xD
