This painting came to me like a ton of bricks on pot! It is so abstract and yet so clear cut it in making my brain hurt. Now the picture really -insert bad word-ed the image up, but it is okey, I can live with it I suppose. It is of two dragons, red being Juliet, for her family color is red, and Romeo being blue, for his family color is blue. The acid rain behind Juliet symbolizes the calm of rain, thus being Juliet but the pain it can bring as well (hence acid). Blue fire for Romeo gives the same consept, fire can be harsh and unforgiving, at the same time cradling and warm. Blue fire is a rare gift, both harmful and peaceful, thus explaining Romeo. The two dragons symbolize themselves of having a peaceful and dangerous side to their personality, plus I have more fun drawing dragons anyway. >.< Those dragons are also quite litterally in a heart shape together! Also the dragons are being intwinded, showing their closeness together, although they split apart, showing the banishment of Romeo and the fake death of Juliet, but when you get to the top of the heart you can see they turn torward eachother again, thus being the relief after death. -nods- I like the symbolism in this painting so very much. Now the paper got a little fuzzy on me to unfortunatly because my sketchbook paper got too wet and I had no watercolor paper. >.< Well, without further adue, here is Romeo and Juliet!
